As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 1,617 people, 1,126 households, and 451 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 931.8/km2 (2,413.5/mi2). There were 1,242 housing units at an average density of 715.7/km2 (1,853.8/mi2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.52% White, 0.68% African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.43% Asian, 0.19% from other races, and 0.12% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.30% of the population.
